GMP’s manufacturing facility is built for precision, efficiency, and high-volume production to meet global standards.

We specialize in non-metal (composite) sleeve water-lubricated bearings with Nitrile or Neoprene linings, designed for marine stern tubes and rudder shafts. Our proprietary phenolic composites are 60% lighter than metal alternatives, offering superior impact resistance, environmental safety, and high-temperature performance from -40°C to 150°C.

  • Dry start-up capability: up to 2 minutes.

  • Excellent abrasion resistance:

    • DIN 53516 — RT: 30–80 mm³ loss

    • DIN 53516 — 150°C: 50–80 mm³ loss

  • Available in Black and Brown.

Our manufacturing process ensures superior concentricity and cylindricity by grinding bearings on cylindrical grinders mounted on mandrels — eliminating the taper and offset issues common with centreless grinding.

The facility houses advanced molding presses, grinding machines, and testing equipment, allowing:

  • High-precision, large-scale production.

    At GMP Bearings, we have developed a state-of-the-art manufacturing infrastructure spanning over 10,000 sq. ft. Our facility is fully equipped with modern machinery and advanced systems to manage all aspects of bearing design, fabrication, and quality control efficiently.
    Our in-house capabilities include:
    Foundry equipment for raw material processing
    Rubber processing machines for precise lining fabrication
    Moulding presses for custom and standard bearings
    Turning machines and precision grinding machines for high-accuracy finishing
    With a manufacturing capacity of 10,000 bearings per month, we are well-positioned to meet the demands of diverse industries, including marine, industrial pumps, and power generation.
    To ensure smooth operations, we have strategically divided our infrastructure into dedicated units:
    Design and Development Unit — equipped with advanced CAD systems for bearing design optimization
    Manufacturing Unit — handles machining, moulding, and assembly processes
    Storage and Packaging Unit — ensures safe inventory management and efficient dispatch
